“So I had a Brdyge for my iPad 9.7 pro; which was the first edition (1001 model). I loved it and told everyone about it. Although, it had 2 flaws that I thought would make things so much better. 1st, I wish they had a magnet that would disable the screen when closed (keep reading beyond this point!!) and 2nd, to have the charging port on the same side as the iPad charging port. Well, I brought up my first concern to Brydge when I was at CES 2018. Low and behold,m they explained they have ALWAYS had the magnet in it to disable the screen. It turns out, mine had a defect! Brydge was awesome enough to do an RMA for my keyboard at 10 months old and send me the latest edition. 1 - The magnet is now in place properly to disable the screen, and 2 - they moved the charging port!! Now, we did lose the built in speakers from the 1001 model (which I never used anyway!). The speakers were, in my opinion, designed for older iPad's where the speakers were not so up to par. With today's iPad's, this is a welcome reduction. Also, the power on and off button is much more sleeker. The back lit keyboard is a must for me to stay up plugging away on emails or tasks in the dim lit rooms, and the ability to have the iPad at ANY angle when open is just perfect. I feel so sorry for others when i pull up to a meeting desk and they all have their preset angles at which the keyboard and screen are at. I find that when working at a desk, I use one angle, and when working on the couch or in bed, its completely different pending my posture. The battery life is outstanding. I have never ran out of a charge, but at the same time, I mainly charge it before I am heading to a conference and just simply do not want to worry about it. And for the times you don't need the attached keyboard??Just pull gently to remove it from its holders to use as the iPad was intended. This comes in handy when traveling to simply hold the iPad to watch a movie/show. All in all, I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a keyboard for their iPad.”

“I tried to submit a help request online and never heard back. Some of the keys (especially the O, L, and M keys, but there are others) require more than normal typing pressure to get them to work. It is disappointing that the quality is not as good as I expected it to be, but it is even more disappointing that there was no response to a help request. I am adjusting my typing touch to account for the stubborn keys, but even so it is still not always sufficient.”
