The functionality of the keyboard is great, trackpad is fantastic, better than expected Keyboard and shortcuts are really good Service team was outstanding in its support and getting me this keyboard - I’ve damaged the previous one Hardware can be better;, one of hinges got to the point it was hardly moving and didn’t close all the way, I’ve fixed it by oiling it, now it seems to be OK

I enjoy typing on the keyboard but the mouse is sensitive and if my thumb hits it by accident, lines of what I write are sometimes deleted. Also hoping for better access to some of the functionality of the apple keyboard. That said, having the top row on the keyboard, and the keyboard charging independently of the ipad were the reasons why i kept the brydge after trying both. The apple keyboard just drained too much battery and I like having the functionality of having the top row to make louder/softer, brighter, etc.

The keyboard performs beautifully. It has full array of keys to control brightness and sound, international keyboard. Much better than the Apple keyboard that I returned lacking those keys. The magnetic cover falls off so easily which is why I took off one star. Has to use a double sided tape to keep it from falling off. Hopefully, they will fix the insufficient magnetic connection.

Brydge NEVER lets us down. The only bad thing I have to say is the cover for the iPad back. It’s super loose. NOT A BIG DEAL TO ME personally becuase I tend to snatch it off anyways. It’s a little lighter without it.

I love the keyboard, the construction is awesome, and I actually like the tiny keys even as a large fat fingered kinda guy. But, I received it with one hinge a little bent, small enough that if I complained about it I was afraid I would be "that customer", but I am a designer and therefore I can be very retentive and this is one of those moments and it bugs me a lot. Now the second complaint- Here's the one that annoys me more. I had the first gen keyboard for my 2018 iPad pro 11 and the power port was on the right hand side; so when using the keyboard wired and plugged into the iPad I could place the iPad in the hinges with the volume buttons on top (and the iPad's power port on the right), that would make the usb-c cord plugged in to both devices on the right side of each device and the cord supplied fit well. Now with the new track pad keyboard the power port is on the left so it does not allow me to place the iPad in the hinges with the volume buttons on top with the supplied usb-c cord. It's a little thing but it sucks. So I don't use a cord from some other device and it has a lot of extra length flopping around. Does either effect the performance? no. but for what I paid, I sorta want the little details polished too. Now here is a cool gem- a gem that a very few of you will enjoy. I use this keyboard as my daily design keyboard with my iPad as a connected monitor to my mac mini. so the ipad sits in the keyboard and just above it is my 4k ultra wide 38" monitor! And it works great. the only thing I wish for is an escape key so I can get out of tool selections in my software, but there are other shortcuts and it was made for an iPad so I will complain about the other things and enjoy it for what I can do with it.

If I could give Brydge (as a whole) negative stars I would. First my product was delayed 4 times (I know COVID-19 delays are inevitable but don’t lie about it and just tell us when we should get the thing). Then the original product I purchased for $200 (WHICH IS NOT CHEAP) doesn’t work the way it should. It intermittently drops connection with Bluetooth/iPad. Halfway through typing this review, my typing experience keeps going back and forth from the screen keyboard and the Brydge keyboard which is pretty frustrating . At other times I cannot even get the thing to turn on or work at all following all the instructions over and over again (when working the Brydge is at 95%). So I contacted Brydge and sent a video of my problems and they sent me a replacement. However, the replacement product Brydge sent me was the Brydge Pro not the Plus. Thus, The replacement product they sent me was THE INCORRECT PRODUCT AS ITS NOT THE PRODUCT I ORIGINALLY PURCHASED. I will for sure never purchase another Brydge product as long as I live as Brydge is completely and utterly UNABLE fix/correct my issue.

I have both the 12.9 Pro, and now the Pro+. Obviously prefer the + mouse pad. I never separate my iPad from the Brydge Pro+. Fit, form and function are tops. Firmware upgrade is wonderful. Customer service is super. GET the Pro+ !!!
