“Terrible chair. It's heavy and solidly constructed, but the engineer who designed the chair must not know what a chair is supposed to feel like.
There is basically no padding in the seat, so you can feel the hard square metal frame underneath. There's no waterfall edge so it cuts off circulation to your legs. After 5 months of use, my legs ache and my back hurts from this chair.
It was so expensive, and the restocking fee is 25% that I just had to keep it and now I'm going to try to sell it.
Avoid at all costs!”
“I bought this chair thinking it would be the answer to my problems with flimsy chairs that hurt my back and legs sitting in them for 8 hours a day. I thought that it would be made a lot better than most chairs and so it would be more comfortable.
I was half right. The chair is made extremely well. In terms of build quality, this thing feels like a tank. It's also extremely heavy!
The problem is that it's just horrifically uncomfortable. The cushion in the bottom feels nonexistent and you can feel the square metal frame through the seat. The backrest is at an awkward position when sitting up and you can only adjust the lumbar with the inflatable bladder, but not the backrest angle. If you try to recline, the seat of the chair moves in sync with the back of the chair. This causes the front edge of the seat to dig into the back of your legs and cut off circulation. Its caused me aching legs, varicose veins, you name it. There is really no waterfall edge at the front to speak of. Also, the chair is extremely tall at the lowest setting. I am 6'3" and I can only sit flat footed at the very lowest setting.
Thanks to the huge restocking fee, it was basically non returnable so I've suffered through having this chair for 5 months. I've had it though, and I'm on the hunt for a more comfortable chair now.”
“Well made, stout chair, Just what I needed. It's heavy and that typically means high quality with good components. It's deceptively comfortable as well, more than I thought it would be. If it holds up like it's supposed to and built to hold up, it'll be the perfect chair. We'll see as time goes on.”
