Enjoying the chair. The tall version was too tall for this 6 foot tall person. BTOD helped with a replacement cyclinder.

Configuration: AF518 adjustment option, KR-445 arms, everything else default. This chair ticked off all the boxes on my list and although I was nervous buying a chair sight unseen, I'm glad I opted for the OM Affirm series. The build quality, warranty and adjustment options are as-advertised. I'm 5'6" and my spouse is over 6 feet - we can easily readjust this chair to fit either of us. So far, this is the MVP of our home office.

A bit firm. Honestly I hated it for the first week or so, but your body does have to adjust. The waterfall seatpan is a godsend though. My knee pain is completely gone. Arms are too low for me, but this is an issue with my entire setup, not just the chair. My desk just sits too high really. Good adjustments but I got the executive mechanism. I bought this before BTOD was doing remanufactured Aerons and Steelcases for almost the same price. So keep that in mind.

BTOD was great very responsive and answered all my questions regarding the purchase of the chair I was interested in. They kept me informed of the delivery through out the process. Buying online unfortunately is just not the same as actually sitting in one in a store and trying it out for myself. The chair is adequately adjustable, but even though the seat was padded and had high marks in the reviews,it just did not meet my comfort criteria as it is very firm with no give and after sitting in it for a long time my "sitting bones" start to ache. Based solely on that alone I don't know that I would buy a chair online again. The chair was delivered to my condo door ,thank goodness, as it is extremely heavy. It is easy to assemble but definitely requires 2 people to lift the seat and attached back onto the swivel base legs as it was too heavy to do it by myself. It would have been helpful for me (a single woman ) to have known that when purchasing it and had to make special arrangements for some one to come help me with it. BTOD does an fantastic job informing the buyer with all their exceptional reviews (thanks I learned alot ) but I personally can't get around the restrictive online experience of not being able to test drive the chair. I just bought a new car and realize I would not have got it with out taking it for a test drive - I should have applied the same criteria for an office chair ! In fact I think chair manufactures could learn a thing or 2 from car seat manufactures as the bucket seat and adjustable lumbar support in my car is what I would love to have transposed to my office chair experience ! Great idea don't ya think ?
