“The Amia chair arrived with three damaged wheels and BTOD took care of it fairly quickly. The armrest replacement that BTOD uses on this chair is abysmal; $70 amazon and IKEA chairs have softer more comfortable armrests. I have been fortunate enough to have experienced the oem armrest and it is far more comfortable and soft than what is used here on BTOD. The seat has extra padding added but it is not any more comfortable than a used chair, but it is more comfortable than the Leap. I personally learned that my posture requires more pronounced lumbar support so the Leap is more comfortable in that regard for me. The tilt mechanism is the standard push back and it works well, but again the Leap does it better with the synchronous seat movement. If it is within the budget spend the extra ~$50 to get the non-outlet but returnable version for your peace of mind.”
“After watching a lot of videos on high performance seating and watching most of btods videos I was able to realize the amia is probably the best chair for the money for me. I can definitely attest that the extra bit of seat cushion goes a long way to making this a very good chair. If you're on the fence like I was at one point I would say go for it”
