“The design and engineering of the a BullBar 2.0 are TREMENDOUSLY slick! I can literally have it setup and/or broken down in under 40 seconds and it's incredibly sturdy for pull-ups even a wide range of lighter banded and suspension strap based exercises. 11/10 for the BULLBAR 2.0!”
“This is delayed because I purchased it as a birthday gift for my grandson and he just saw it tonight. We really like the bullbar. It is very sturdy and simple enough that even an old guy can set it up. My only disappointment is that I ordered the bands but did not receive them, so if you could send those along I would be totally stoked about my purchase. Really cool product.”
“I love the convenience and ease of set up. Most importantly for me is the portability of the Bullbar. Just make sure to hold onto the pull up bar when lowering or you might get your knee knocked. . There is a little bit of wobble but a lot less than I expected. I've even been doing weighted pull ups with 45lbs and it works great. Love it!”
“Set up is quick and very simple as is the takedown for storage and transport. Was worried it may not be a stable as I'd like but as it turns out it's very stable, when locked in place there's no sway at all (if you don't kip which this isn't designed for anyway). Really like the ability to quickly switch to doing dips from pull-ups, the versatility is great.
So far I'm using it every day even if only for a quick warm-up.”
“I was skeptical about this because I'm not a small person, but I've been super pleased with the purchase. It is very stable. Also ressitance bands open up a lot more functionality.”
“The customer service and standing by their products is next to none. They were incredible to work with. This is my second BullBar after upgrading to the new 2.0 version and the improvements from the latch system, the bands connection, and overall structure are evident and amazing. Also being able to quickly store the product and take up little space is definitely a perk!”
“Portability is good, lightweight for a piece of equipment like this. Nice attachment for dips, can pretty much get a good workout in with just this bar if you work on dips/pull ups.
Some room for improvement:
- the bar would be better if it was completely flat, don’t need the sides of it to be angled, not very good if you’re into calisthenics and want an even bar for other types of movements or just for consistency when doing pull ups with different stances
- it’s pretty stable for such a portable equipment but could be even more stable if the legs had more weight to it, tried to do muscle ups but almost flipped the bar without someone pressing down on the legs
- the bar itself has a soft layer over it, not good for your grip if you have sweaty hands. This type of layer is definitely meant for beginners for advanced people we would love to just have a plane straight bar without a comfortable cover, our skin would be better adapted to a bar without that cover cause it really sucks if you are really into advanced movements and you already have a thick layer of skin to protect you. This layer on the bar is super slippery if you have sweaty hands.
Overall 4/5 I could get what I need from it but would appreciate it even more if it was more stable, had a flat bar, and no soft slippery layer on the bar.”
