“Love the bullbar! It's easy to set up and take down and doesn't take up too much space. The customer service is top notch! Very responsive to emails and they stand by their product. They even sent me additional safety pins when we misplaced ours.”
“Great customer service! My BULLBAR 2.0 arrived damaged (2 of the legs would not open), I contacted customer service, and I had a new one in perfect working order within a week, no questions asked and no hassle.”
“Well,
I like the equipment. Easy to put and down. However, the legs, it was the hardest to move. As an error, I broke a pin there on one of the leg. Fix it, but now I have to remind to be careful with that leg and the rest as well. Reason why, you have to push the pin down enough and now have to muscle it by pull out the legs. Harder part, but once that are settle. Boom boom bam, all set up in a matter of second, literally, 30-60 seconds.
Anyway, I barely use it, because I just don't have the time like I thought I have. But when I first tested, OMG, a game changer because I can step up on their side bar to get eccentric chin or pull ups in. Yes a beginner in bodyweight, especially the chin and pull up part.
You can dip on this, row on this, I even test my gym ring and it work nicely. But once the weather settles down, figure of speech, I will put more time on this.
And oh, it does not go under your bed that easy if you have a low hanging bed frame. Have to literally put it to the side where no one go to, corner room.
For the cost, hopefully it is better than the 1.0 where folks gave this a very bad review. Also, the cost is pricey. Especially where the leg locking pin broke off a price of metal and ejected the pin. Easy fix though.
Would I recommend it. Yes and no base of the con. Price and difficulty of the locking pin at the legs.
Pro, you get a whole lot of everything.”
“I have had the Bullbar for just over 3 weeks. What I love most is the versatility it gives me in my workout routine. I train 6 days a week. I now dedicate one day of training with the bBullbar doing pullups, dips, pushups, and band work. For years I have tried pull up systems in door ways and other methods but they always frustrated me and I omitted them from my training. This is a great product and a great asset to my training. Even my wife started training withn me. Very glad I have it.”
“The bullbar is great. I use it daily. Overall its an excellent product. Some small complaints are the right handle attachment doesn’t fit as tight as the left handle so it makes the dips a little wobbly and the two of the legs are a bit hard to open and close. Other than those two things i love the product.
Sincerely,
Joe Guicheteau”
“The product is sturdy and does it's job, although I'm a bit disappointed with how stiff the legs are. The first setup it took a lot of effort to press the buttons to unlock the legs, I had to use the pins to press the buttons down.
The legs are also really stiff and some of the paint is peeling off probably due to the friction of opening and closing the legs.
Lastly, it's a bit difficult to place both of the bottom safety pins. Perhaps they are misaligned, but I have to place one then push against the other side to be able to align the hole and insert the pin.
Overall, the product is sturdy and does its job, but there are a couple of build quality issues that make it less than perfect. I may just have gotten unlucky”
“Here’s the deal. I own the big bar from base blocks and the home fit gym and I prefer my BULLBAR over both. The big bar is nice and sturdy but not portable and the bar is a 2 inch diameter, kinda big. The home fit gym is over 100 lbs when packed for transport and not very portable. The BULLBAR is like the best of both worlds but better. The bar diameter is perfect and the portable is better than both of the competitors I previously purchased. Long story short, save some money and time and just get the BULLBAR. It’s also extremely sturdy.”
“The Bullbar 2.0 was perfect for my at home gym, it was easy to put together! It's also really fast to take down as well, I first had the bullbar setup in my living room for workouts but realized a bit too late I wouldn't have the clearance above to do a pullup and had to take it down to move it to my basement really easily! The only issue I had was with the time it took to get the bullbar 2.0 as there were delays with getting the bar in from the manufacturer, but after reaching out to Mike and his team I was able to get an update on my order and the tracking number! After that the bar arrived in a little less then 5 days. All and all I'm happy with my purchase and I plan to buy another in the future as a gift for my brother since he was also looking for an at home pullup bar!”
“I recommend this product. It met my expectations and does exactly what it claims. The pushup bars and clips at the bottom for bands are really nice features. It's more than just a pullup bar. A necessity for any home gym.”
“The bar is portable, but the product itself feels sloppy and leaves much to be desired
- while setting up the bar, it can fall over an injured you so you have to be really careful. Not sure why they don't make it safer to do this...
- when inserting the pins it's very difficult to get things aligned so the pins can be inserted
- the legs themselves are difficult to open
- there should be a place to store the pins while carrying
- it took them 2 months after I ordered to send to me. Granted I ordered during christmas, but 2 months is a long time.”
“Sturdy, perfect height pull-up bar! Not to mention all the other things you can do with it. Folded up it’s really compact. I put it through a good workout first day I received it and man I’m impressed!”
