“Does the job. I think I got the first version, which has a plastic neck strip holder. I wish the material of the blade/guard holders was made out of more durable materials of say( elastic mesh, triple layer or thicker material). After my first year of use , I had to sew the net material which was prone to tearing. Be that as is it may, THE GENERAL V2 has been my go to when comes to house calls or just travel. It’s a product for the on the go entrepreneurs/barber. I thank you @vincethebarber for your service and contribution to the industry.”

“I liked the General, nice construction, made well. However, it was heavy to begin with, and even more so when I put my tools inside. I had to carry it like a suitcase instead of a backpack. I ended up selling it and found a lightweight case.”

Hi Anna, When you bought the General V1 it was our first release, 3 years ago. Now, there are the smaller General Lite and the Sidekick! Can you let us know your height by any chance? I think it would help inform other barbers that are concerned about the size of the bag. There's a delicate balance between size, weight, and quality materials that we consider when designing our products. Some barbers have actually asked us for an even larger backpack! “I love my pack, however I feel the other leather could be stronger. Also I think that the width, thickness and high could have been reduced slightly. Even after that fact virtually the same items could still fit. I also feel that it could be priced a little better especially considering sales are made over seas too. I have to pay around £50 custom fees ontop of the product and delivery. As for delivery I had paid extra for faster delivery, but due to it being shipped over seas it made absolutely no difference. To conclude;The backpack is good, I think these slight changes to size and toughness would have made the perfect pack. Also the shipping method needs improving. Other than that I’m happy. I won’t be making another purchase due to the costs though.”

Hey Stephen, Thanks for the review. International shipping is definitely a challenge for any customer who isn't based in the USA. We're looking at ways for us to ship internationally in a cost efficient way. Stay tuned. We've got a small team but we may have a solution coming soon.
