“Just received my Dakota Amish Slat Morris chair in quartersawn oak.
The delivery guys were awesome, and the chair was well-protected for the trip. The cushions were shipped in a cardboard box separated from the chair. The top of the footstool was also in the cushion box.
The fit and finish on the chair are outstanding. Not a flaw to be found. The fabric upholstery was perfectly centered on the footstool and the seat and back of the chair. I selected the C8-50 Pyrite pattern, which has medium sized print. The diagrams were aligned just exactly so. Fantastic attention to detail.
The chair is shipped with the chair back folded forward into the seat cushion support. It was very securely packed. This made it very easy to get in the front door, without playing furniture Tetris. There are felt bits on the feet, so hardwood floors are protected.
Setup involved removal of the protective plastic and foam wrapping, setting the pegs for the desired angle of the chair back, and plopping the cushions in place.
The top of the footstool needs to be screwed in place, and the holes are pre-drilled, and the screws are already started part way.
I cannot think how the process, or product could be made any better.
The quartersawn oak is just beautiful.
My wife wants another one, so I guess I will be writing another review in a few weeks.”
