“It’s great for damp shoes, I wouldn’t be without it. Much easier and more efficient than trying to put them in the dryer on a rack.! I am still trying to get rid of the smell of hubby’s shoes. (This is the main reason I bought the machine) After a few weeks of putting it on regularly several times a day. It only goes for 15 minutes, so I repeat it as often as I can and hoping the smell will go away eventually!”

“Works well but more drying efficiency would be gained if the opening of the shoe was facing up to let moisture escape more easily. Using a flexible hose into an upright boot would do this”

“I use this for my boxing gloves. Its a great product and works really well. Arrived quickly. If using the ozone function it can be a little noisy.”

“It's a very simple gadget really and I laugh at myself for not even realising that they existed until recently. I live in a relatively wet area and because of that I had a shoe rack containing 9 pairs that I wore by rotation. Since the Caremax dryer arrived I have only needed to use two pairs of shoes and I have been able to put the other 7 pairs away until I need them in the future. Because I walk through long wet grass the shoes are usually thoroughly soaked and they take about an hour to dry properly. I don't know how the ozone works but once the shoes are dry there is no longer any foot odour in them. It is definitely one of the most practical purchases I have made this year.”

“I've tried so many different things to dry and sterilize my running shoes. Various sprays, leaving out in the sun, powders, you name it.\n\nThis device works like magic. I'd have thought a heater would just make it worse smelling, but this appears to gently dry them out. To my surprise, shoes that normally would reek after treatment (soaked in sweat, left in hot trunk) smell almost like new after leaving a few hours on this thing.\n\n\nI still can't believe it works so well, and highly recommended..\n\n”
