“I looked long and hard to find a bed that was well-constructed enough not to require a middle support. They are almost impossible to find, because most beds are cheaply built. This is a very well-designed and manufactured bed. Ash wood is very heavy and strong. Each piece joined together tightly and beautifully (I had to use a block and hammer to get the middle support fully inserted). The external boards that show are well-sanded and beautiful. The bed pieces arrived very well protected, and despite the usual evidence of rough handling of the box, every piece of wood was intact. There was some twisting of the plywood support boards (probably from shipping), which prevented some corners from lying perfectly flat, but with the mattress on top, that has not been a problem. I ordered my bed without a headboard, so I could buy a fabric one to mount to the wall. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this company and the bed to anyone.”
