“I had a mixed experience with Carolina Leg Company on a recent pedestal base order.
The bases arrived well packaged and structurally solid, but there were several quality concerns that impacted the final result. There were a few dents and one noticeable crack, along with visible glue lines that could not be sanded out and became more pronounced after staining. Additionally, certain sections of the wood did not take stain evenly, which created inconsistencies in the finished appearance.
To their credit, they did offer to replace the bases, which I appreciate. However, due to project timing and an earlier shipping delay, I wasn’t able to take advantage of that option.
Communication prior to shipment was limited, and while they were responsive afterward, the tone felt a bit unprofessional at times.
Overall, the product is usable, but for higher-end custom work where finish quality is critical, these issues are important to consider.”

“It took some time to receive these, which somehow made me anticipate high quality legs made in no rush with no cutting corners, just for me. When they came I was not disappointed. They are very well made and better finished than I hoped for. Very substantial, and without issues. Well worth it over what I could have done, even if I sprung for proper tooling. I like the style and proportions as well. I must also say after a few weeks I did initiate questions on when they would arrive, and they always responded very professionally and congenially with updates. They were fantastic to work with. One final thing, they were packed sooooo well when shipped. I'm a happy customer.”
