“Metal H-Block Table legs 29" H x 24" W; material, weld quality, square assembly, overall construction is very good. A 5 star product but can only rate 4 stars, why? Online description lacks full details. The H-frame leg tube steel is assembled at 24" outside to outside dimension, but the legs are welded to a top plate which is 24-1/2" long, not 24" (look close at online photo). The plate cannot be cut shorter without removing the weld. I ordered these legs specifically for a 24" wide custom built table but now cannot use them. Very disappointed. What is the top plate length for the other table sizes? Are there similar dimensional variations for the other products? There also are 5/16" threaded insets mounted in a press fit plate in the bottom of each leg with a 5/16-18 x 1" long bolt provided, a good feature, especially if you plan to add caster wheels as I did. But this detail is not provided in the online description either. Carolina Leg Co, serve your potential customers better by providing a full description of your products; a dimensional sketch, or at least a better online description of product dimensions would have saved me a big headache. Hope this information is helpful to other potential customers.”
“This is my second purchase, for a hobby desk/bench. Ordering was super-easy and they got here in very few days. Quality is excellent and the legs are just as described.
The only suggestion I have is to get some dimensions on how high the cross-bar is on legs of a given size. This would help me plan for my inevitable "foot shelf" and how much space will be above it and below it. Fairly minor but it would be helpful going-in. Hats off to the crew at Carolina Leg!”

“They are good legs. The only thing I was lacking in information is the size of the plate on top. Im building a 7' table with 6/4 ash and would have liked the plate on top of the legs to be a little wider for the support. I'm already thinking of adding a stringer or a plate connecting the tops to strengthen the legs a little more. Other wise I really like the construction. The only other thing is packing needs to be better. Box was open and legs just flopping around in what was left.”
