“The bed was shipped in a timley manor and arrived in great condition. The 2 boxes were quite heavy and I recomend 2 people to move them. However, once in the room, it only took 1 person (who knew what they were doing), to actually assemble the bed. Everything fit perfectly and the only thing that needed our attention was 1 screw which needed the thread tidying before it coul be used. The bed is made of excelent wood and the side runners had pockets for the slats which makes for easy mattress toping, this was an excelent feature. We then stained the bed black (2 coats of stain) and when it was dry, we unscrewed the bed and remade it at my son's house where it looks absolutly fabulous. Exceptional quality, reasonably fast shipping and a very solid bed that will last a lifetime. Many thanks.”

“I wanted a wood frame with a slatted headboard for flexibility in how it is used. Thus far - absolutely no squeaking, extremely solid.
Finished with tung oil, it looks great. Came together quite easily. One bolt stripped, they sent me a new set.
Great value, good engineering. Most queens and larger need legs in the middle for support, this does not, maximizing under bed space.
Only thing I would like is the option of legs an inch or two higher to better fit storage options.

“We spent much more time trying to figure out what kind of finish to use than we did assembling the pieces. We finally settled on a shellac finish. It was a bit of a learning process but it ended up looking really nice. The frame assembly took longer than I expected. Wish I had had an Allen wrench of the correct size chucked into my drill. That would have sped things up considerably. It's a very solid piece of furniture which will last many years.”
“Would give more stars if allowed. This is the total bomb bed. Love it. Very well made and extra solid. Does not give at all. Assembly was easy and the parts fit well together, (though I'd recommend an allen/hex wrench bit on a drill for quicker application.) We're very impressed with this bed. I wish I were in it right now!”
