“My experience with the Hartford platform bed frame was just okay. While the wood color was creamy and smooth, there were a few imperfections that I could not ignore. One of those imperfections was the headboard and footboard. Both have a top piece of wood and a bottom piece that were stapled together. They were not even. I did not and could not take the stapling out to even the top and bottom portion. Because of this, there were gaps between the headboard, footboard and the legs. After I finished putting together the frame, I could clearly see those gaps between the legs and headboard / footboard. I wish I had taken a picture of the gaps, but I was so angry I did not think of it. I donated the frame and I'm out for $300+. For me this frame was a disappointment.”

“I love my two twin bed frames that I purchased without headboards. I chose to not have headboards, but instead I put felt pads the legs so that I can rotate the mattress by turning the entire bed rather than trying to pick up the mattress and rotate it on the frame. Painful arthritis in my hands prevents me from being able to pick up the mattress and rotate it so it is much easier to rotate the whole bed! I also love that the bottom of the frame is high enough off the floor that it is easy to vacuum under the bed! The frames are very well made A beautiful word. I thought I might paint them or stain them but they are beautiful just the way they are! Thank you for making such high quality products here in the USA!”
