“I have tried a lot of litters over the years (pine, clay clumping - different brands, wheat, and coconut). I started out with the "non-clumping" coconut litter. It worked good, and I liked the fact that when I was ready to wash the litter box and put new litter in it, that I could toss the old stuff on my compost pile. The only thing about the non-clumping is the ammonia smell since you mix the pee into the remaining litter. I was going through a lot more litter since I was tossing the remaining litter every week or so. I finally tried the clumping version a few years ago and that's all I buy. It works great! The best way to get the clumps out is tilting the box to find the pee clumps and I use a "candy scoop" I purchased on Amazon to get all of the clumps out. Then I'll use the sifter for the solid litter. I'm able to keep the remaining litter in the box longer since the pee is being removed. I have noticed some differences in the batches; however, it still works great. And the biggest thing is, I don't have to worry about my cats breathing in dust from other litters and/or consuming any spects of litter when they are grooming themselves. I find it to be a very effective and safe litter.”

“The quality has diminished in recent months. The litter in the most recent shipment does NOT clump and the litter has a very foul odor right out of the new bag. My cat has used CatSpot for over 12 years and I'm considering changing to a different product if the quality issues persist.”

“I've been a very loyal customet for 8 years, and the last three months my order of the Non-Clumping litter has just been off! I thought the first time that it was juist a bad batch, which I was able to accept. Then it came again and I scratched my head and thought well - they've changed the formula. I'll stick it through and see how it goes... but I HATE it. It went from being a very nice consistency and lumping very well to now a more 'shredded wheat' consistency that does not clump well at all, and now the odor is much worse too!!! I hate to say it, but the new formula is NOT GOOD!!! Go back to the way it was or I'm going to stop my subsctiption and find a new source of cat litter!!!”

“I have satisfactorily used this for years. Recently it has not been ground fine enough to go through the seive in the litter robot and all of the litter dumps when cycling.”

“I am on a subscription, I keep buying it, it doesn't clump that well, they should offer a scoop that has narrow slots, that would work better for the pee, I can't find one on line, so what I do is I mix it with a different litter, one that is made of wood and is super clumping, I would just use wood but they chips are larger and get tracked all over plus I think this litter is much cleaner, the blend works pretty good.”

“I have been using Cat Spot for 5 years. No litter box issues with this litter. My cats don’t like anything else. I have used as the sole litter, but the crumping isn’t the best - I mix it with Sustainably Yours small grain My 3 cats like it that way - small grains like sand.”
