“I think there are households where this litter will work, but it's not for me. I think it will work better with only one or two cats.
Pros:
- hides odors
- easy for cats to hide their business
Cons:
- lots of tracking
- clumps are very weak
- it does create a lot of brown dust (accumulated on the air filter I have by the litter box)”
“I love our cat, but cat litter makes me gag. But CatSpot makes it so much better for me- like I can actually enjoy having a cat without all the gagging, ha!”
“The coconut really absorbs the pee esp multiple cats I usually change it out once a week and I have 10 it’s really the best I have had auto ship several years”
“I am a long-time user of cat spot litter. However, this one is not so sure.
(1) this seems to be a mix of excellent coco based litter and average cray-based litter; therefore, it is not an excellent choice for composting.
(2) more importantly, this clumping litter does not clump well. The clump is too soft. It breaks apart.
I will stick to the original coco-based litter.”
“I used to wonder how effective this litter was until my daughter went out of town and I stayed at her house. The clay litter is heavy, gummy, and stinky. I’ve been using this litter since March 2020 and had tried several others between clay and Catspot. Nothing compares to Catspot. This litter is lightweight, excellent at clumping and with daily to every other day cleaning; zero odor. I use a flat scoop and do not shake the clumps and they stay together perfectly. The photos attached to this review show my boxes with litter that has just been refilled (not emptied) for three months. Love this litter.”
“So thankful for this brand of litter! Our little girl has sinus issues and this is the only litter she can have aside from paper (and paper litter is so gross). It clumps and hides odors well. Definitely a life long customer.”
