I'm a fairly recent cat owner, but he has asthma, so we try to keep dust to a minimum. This stuff is way better than clay litter dust wise. I even put 2 litter boxes out at first, and he consistently went to the Cat Spot box. Hope this helps!

Cat prefers it to clay litter. Less dusty, he's got asthma. Haven't heard him coughing as much.

My handsome cat, Mr. Tom, loves it! He started using it right away, no adjustment period needed. The litter still gets on the floor when he wipes his paws, but it is so much easier to vacuum up than the clay!! Also... my back loves it! No more straining my back to change the litter box with clay. Coconut litter... is the new litter :)

My husband has allergies and we had gotten used to the dust from the clay cat litter. This clumping coconut litter is really nice. The cats seem to use it just fine. We like that when we scoop it that there isn't much dust. The heavy ammonia smell we are used to isn't there either. We are happy that the litter can be added to our garden. All in all it's great!!!

The odor control is excellent. The clumping ability is also excellent and, of course, I appreciate that the old litter can be scattered in the garden or compost pile. A pretty big con is that this litter tracks all over the place. I purchased a waffle mat to place on the floor next to the litter box. The mat has greatly reduced the tracking of litter but has not eliminated it. I spend quite a bit of energy sweeping up errant litter from all the floors of my house.

This is the best kitty litter I've ever used for odor control.
