Good odor control, lasts much longer than clay litter, less dusty

Been using over a year. Cats use no problem, and I can throw the used in my yard instead of trash.

It's lightweight, lasts much longer than clay litters, and I can dump it in the woods behind my house. No more lugging heavy bags of clay litter to the dump

I love CatSpot Litter, because it is lightweight and compostable. It neutralizes odor well, without having a scent of its own, and that's VERY important to me. The smell of cat pee is bad enough, but cat pee and perfume are downright gross. CatSpot excels in the "unscented" department. My cat took to the litter from the very first day, so I had no transition problems. I have only one issue with the litter....it is tracked easily. Well, I guess it doesn't track easier than any other brand, but my cat can carry it to the far end of the house. She launches out of the litterbox instead of simply exiting after doing any of her business. The litter is on top of her feet when she does, and a large portion ends up on the floor in the room with the box, but a fair amount on top of her feet gets carried to wherever she runs next. I have managed to decrease the volume leaving the box on exit by only having an inch of litter in the box at refill time. I am fanatical about daily cleaning, and I do change the litter every week since I use less volume each refill. I know when it is getting close to time to empty, clean, and refill, because as the litter "fluffs", the tracking gets more noticeable. Sometimes, that has me changing the litter every 5 days. The only other thing I have noticed is that the "Bulk up and Save" shipping boxes have a lot of unused space when shipped. The boxes tend to arrive in a beat up condition. The first time it happened, I took photos and then did a quick inventory, because I thought a bag might have fallen out during shipping. So far, nothing has gone missing in transit, but the boxes show the beating they take. Adding padding would only increase the expense, but maybe a box sized closer to the volume of the contents could save some space, and keep the top of the box more intact. CatSpot non-clumping is the only litter I use. My cat has no litterbox aversion with it, and it is convenient, as well as odor free, for me.

Very Light weight easy to stir, very low tracking tiny particles easy to sweep up, minimal dust, being natural coconut I don't feel like I have to hold my breath when I stir the litter, like the dark brown color. I use 2 bags/mth for 2 cats.
