“I have been using this natural alternative to replace regular litter for at least 5 years and it was pretty much dust free and no weird coconut clumps. Still works nice and easy to clean, but there are now two major issues: 1) Weird clumps of coconut husk that are useless and need to be removed as takes up space without absorbing anything...plus the cat dislikes them. 2) Super dusty and the entire bathroom where our open litter box is gets dusty and needs constant cleaning/dusting. Kind of gross. Did not used to be this bad and part of getting rid of the regular litter was the dust and breathing it in.
Will make a 5 again if can solve these issues that did not exist as bad as they are years ago. When I have a lot of the clumps in a bag, I feel shortchanged as it does take space up in the bag. Hope it can be fixed as now educating myself on other options, but willing to see how it goes through the new year.”
“I have used CatSpot for a couple of years now. I have only one problem with it and that is that it tracks quite a bit. But this is easily outweighed by the good things about it. I love that it is lightweight and easy for me to lift the box to change the litter. I love that I can toss the used litter in the yard and it just becomes part of the ground! It is especially easy to clean the litter box because CatSpot is biodegradable and if there is a small spot stuck to the side of the box I can just rinse it down the drain instead of having to wash the box outside, and during the winter it is not fun to wash the litterbox outside. My cats also seem to like this litter better than the clay or hard crystals. For my cats and me it is the best choice.”
“I gave a good because it is natural but it doesnot seem to keep odor out as long as it use to. I use to change litter pan for 1 cat weekly . Now I need to change every 5 days.”
