“Over the years I have tried every different litter they make (newspaper, compressed sawdust pellets, corn, regular clay, clumping clay, baking soda litter...the list goes on). This is the first cat litter that doesn’t smell like it is trying to cover odor up with an outrageous amount of sent that gives me a headache. And it actually works! I have three cats who share a litter box and just love this litter (two also go outside). It is very lightweight (deceivingly light so be careful if you’re used to the heavy bags) & keeps smells at a minimum. It absorbs the smell and works like magic for us. I did send a bag with my dad to try for his two cats and he didn’t like it at all… I believe it’s because he doesn’t stir it frequently and the urine smell becomes overwhelming… Or it could just be that his cats smell more strongly than mine. It is also somewhat better for shorthair cats as I have a Himalayan with fluffy paws and she would jump out and get litter all over the floor because it would stick (static cling) to her fur… The other two kitties don’t have this issue. But I would just sweep it up and use a litter mat. :)”
