“Having used Catspot for a few cycles, I'd say it certainly does the job extremely well in terms of absorbency & odor control. The lightness is both a positive & negative, the negative being that it flies around while filling the box & also tracks a lot. A negative is that if you flush the solids, the litter floats on top of the water & then leaves a ring in the toilet. An observation is that since it is the same color as the solids, you have to sift a lot to find the solids. I previously used a compressed wood type of litter. For the first two cycles, I mixed some Catspot with the other litter. My cat has zero problem with the switch.”
