“I've been using this product for over a year with my 3 indoor only cats. It really does keep the odors under control (except when my cats don't cover their business). I've discovered that changing it before the urine smell gets strong works best. As soon as it is dark, even after a thorough stirring, it needs to be replaced.
My one and only complaint is that, because it's so light, the cats will knock the litter boxes over unless they have covers or are immobilized in some way.

“I've enjoyed the product, but it takes some getting used to. It is VERY light and fluffy. I'm used to heavy, clumping litter. The stir-in-the-urine is different, too. I've noticed a strong ammonia smell if I let the litter stay in the box for too long. (I scoop once daily and switch out the entire box approximately 2x's a month. I probably should do so every week and a half to ensure freshness.) Also, I need to vacuum frequently since the litter is SO fluffy, it flies out of the box even time my cat makes a visit. (I only have one fur baby...) Good product. I recommend but be aware there will be a period of adjustment!”
“I made the huge mistake of trying 1 bag of CatSpot and after running out and not wanting to mess with ordering online I picked up a box of litter at my local grocery store. The work to maintain the litter, the mess because of the litter (Our cat Blu is a slob) and the smell is terrible, even with a completely new litter box with fresh litter it still never smells fresh, even on day 1! I have been miserable without CatSpot !!!
