Love this litter. Been using for 3 years. The only problem is that it is not dust free. There is always a brown dust on everything around the litter box.

I’ve been using Catspot litter for over a year now. There are so many positive things to say about it, but one is the fact that it’s so lightweight, it’s easy to disperse it into the tray from the bag. I appreciate that it’s non-toxic and environmentally friendly. Something we should all care about.

Pros: The litter is compostable; You can scoop and toss the waste into a toilet (check your the pipes can handle); it's light weight; subscription base allows you to be worry free about refilling litter. Cons: Shipping takes WAY too long (on average it takes about week from notice of shipment to actual delivery, if this could be shortened by a few days that would be great); my kitty gets the litter everywhere (not sure how to prevent this, but I vacuum multiple times a day); It's not great with odor protection (I follow the instructions where i stir the litter with every use, but i think my kitty urinates more than usual and by the end of 2 weeks the litter STINKS to high heaven. I have added a deodorizer to the litter which helps keep it at bay. I may change the frequency of when I get the litter from once every 3 weeks to every 2 weeks to change it out more often); Lastly the litter comes in plastic packaging (I wish that as they are attempting to be eco friendly that they choose a different option. Perhaps a cardboard box like what pancake mix comes in?) Overall, I plan on continuing to use this product. I think it's important to support small businesses. I just need to work out the little kinks personally.

Overall my cat really likes it. Sometimes I forget to scoop every day, but please remember to do so. I can’t emphasize this enough the litter box will smell if you don’t stir it once a day and keep it dried out. You’ll know when it is time to change when that isn’t working, but it seems like a bag lasts my one cat 6-8 weeks. When it’s working though I have never needed baking soda.

I have been very pleased with Catspot. I keep my kitty's private spot in my studio, and I was always having to scoop and smell odors no matter how clean I tried to keep his box. Now, it is so much easier. The litter that does escape the box during his machinations doesn't crunch underfoot or scratch my wooden floors. When I dump out the litter completely to start a fresh box, it all comes out easily. I like that I can put it in my flower beds instead of filling up landfills. I like that it is so lightweight and easy to carry from my front door to where it is needed. I can have it delivered right to my front door, and the subscription helps because it is a regular delivery. I know the price doesn't compare to the lower prices of kitty gravel, but the benefits are worth the few extra nickels per boxes.
