ChessUp brought me so much joy that I don't even remember when I felt this way. It's a strong computer which I love and it's a great "toy" that my kid loves. Paradoxal, both in one! It brings us together this way, I don't get bored playing with him (assisted) and he doesn't get overwhelmed learning thanks to the beautiful presentation. It's an incredible brilliant ideea, sometimes I feel I don't have enough time to spend with it as I'd love to. "One more thing": there's even more to come as it is an evolving process, through the app there are lessons, puzzles, functions that keep growing thanks to the great Dev Team that also takes time to answer us all, to stay in touch with us. THANK YOU!!!

Build quality is good. Setting up a new game quickly is a bit cumbersome. You have to remove all pieces from the board then turn the board off and on, then put the pieces back on the board. I'm having some connectivity issues between the board and the app, app crashes. The app is not yet fully developed. Wish there was another level of assistance where which piece(s) to move was indicated, because my daughter has to check most pieces before finding a 'green' move.

The hardware works as expected, the software however requires a lot of work. I do hope the potential of the board gets unleashed soon!

Still waiting. It's been a month since the shipment was made, and it still hasn't arrived at my house. I asked customer service two days ago, and I have not received a response either. I don't know, a month seems too long. :(

The ChessUp has an excellent build quality. I’m very happy with the product. The app is clearly still in development and I look forward to upcoming improvements.

When I got my chessup board, firstly, I was very unhappy because the smartphone application shut down after 10s after connecting to the board, so the app was kind of useless. However, the programmers have probably fixed this issue because now it's working. I have found only four issues or problems in the app that I do not like: 1. The battery symbol often showed the wrong amount of battery in the board. 2. The clock doesn't work. Although I turn the timesettings to a specific default time, it's just unlimited time... 3. The games, which I play when not connected to the app, aren't saved in the app when reconnecting to the app again. I thought this would be implemented because I heard about this "offline game saver" in some review on YouTube or maybe on your website, cannot remember... 4. When playing a game, I sometimes want to go some moves back because my moves were stupid. I found a way to do that, by clicking BACK in the app and eventually "Send to Board" because the positions were not identical. However, after playing on the engine needs way more time to think and I think this is because the board or the app doesn't notice that the engine could still run on the smartphone. Instead the engine runs on the board, which only supports under 1200 ELO. Therefore, I understand that the engine is a lot slower... However, it would be great if a game could still go on after sending a position to the board... Despite of the disadvantages, your board is the most fun chess learning board to play on because the idea with lights in different colors is ingenious. Thank you for making such a loved game still interesting and fun to play!
