“Awesome board and having a lot of fun playing my oldest son. One of the more notable features (for me) is playing and being able to save the game (for example when my youngest decides he wants to play with the pieces - Photo). Have played a number of games online, vs bots, vs bots with specific openings and two player with and without assistance. My eldest son plays on it too though he doesn't like me taking too long so he's prone to setting the time to 3-5 minutes without increment 😓”

“The ChessUp2 board definitely out classes all its rivals. The fact that it's wireless alone is very special. Hours of gameplay without recharging and with the App ,the ability to analyse your game and see what each move meant . The evaluation bar is another great innovation. The box came perfectly packaged from Europe, with no extra taxes or customs . I already had my plug ready for the USB. The most unique feature are the lights on the board that evaluate the strength of your moves for each piece. Great back up team support for any questions. So far I have only been playing the board's AI opponents , but will move to Chess.com eventually . But as a teaching tool it is perfect for my young nieces. I can't recommend this Chess board enough. With updates and info from the team, things can only get better . Thank you for a wonderful experience !”

“10 out of 10 this company is amazing. To start off the product is amazing. It works so well. I bought it for my daughter's 11th birthday and she's learning so much and we play together almost daily, and then mom plays after she goes to bed lol The peice recognition is phenomenal, the indicator lights are perfect, and the ease of use is everything I would want it to be. We got the full bundle, which came with the case and that makes it even easier for set-up & storage. Additionally, their customer service is just as amazing. I'd originally planned to purchase it on Amazon so planned to order Monday & receive Wednesday. However after seeing the value of the bundle along with a discount code, it was a deal I couldn't pass up. However when I went to order there were no options for paid expedited shipping, only free shipping (which is wonderful itself) but it caused me concern that it wouldn't be in in time for her birthday. I emailed customer service and within hours they'd contacted their warehouse, made sure the order was shipped immediately, and shared tracking info with expected delivery of Thursday morning. They were so efficient and helpful and kind, as someone in the hospitality industry I was trully appreciative of what that kind of customer care they've implemented to make that so seamless. I'm overall very impressed with the company and their products and cannot stop raving about this purchasem. The quality time, improvement to our skill level with chess, and just pure fun it provides makes it the best gift ive ever given her or myself. I can't wait to see what further updates and/or products Bryght Labs dreams up! Thank you! -Regina”

“J'aime beaucoup le jeu Chessup2, les pièces sont belles, le jeu fonctionne bien, cependant il est impossible de jouer avec 2 joueurs ayant chacun un compte chess.com sur le même plateau via chess.com et jouer sur lichess avec le le téléphone portable est un peu pénible à cause de problème de déconnexion, l'application chessup et un peu basique, quand on fait une analyse de partie on ne peut pas voir les variantes pour savoir la meilleure suite de coups. Si se n'était pas de ces quelques points négatifs j'aurais donné 5 étoiles. En espérant que la prochaine mise à jour règle ces problèmes. Merci à l'équipe de Bryght Labs pour ce fantastique jeu et merci aussi pour les réponses rapides lorsque nous avons des questions. 🙂👍👍”

“Super echequier, un plaisir de jouer dessus et idéal pour apprendre avec le système intégré couplé aux cases lumineuses. Qualité de finition vraiment au top. Pouvoir associer son compte chess.com est un vrai plus et permet d'avoir le plaisir de jouer en réel contre les bots ou d'autres joueurs partout dans le monde. Je conseille quand même de prendre la pochette avec, qui est très qualitative et permet de tout ranger aisément. Si vous ajoutez à ça un service client ultra réactif, a l'écoute et de grande qualité, je ne peux que recommander +++ Bref une super expérience jusqu'à maintenant.”

“Super happy with the ChessUp board – works flawlessly, super responsive and smooth. The app is great and easy to use. I was also pleasantly surprised to get a free month of Diamond membership on Chess.com, which was a really nice bonus. The board arrived earlier than expected and in perfect condition. Even with a small delay in the end, it still came faster than I thought. Overall, great product and experience.”

“I received my ChessUp 2 as a father's day gift, and as I'm learning how to use it I think I'll be very happy with it. Two complaints, though. First, the USB cable included for recharging had USB-C connectors on BOTH ends. One end should be a USB-A, as most charging blocks (not included) only accept USB-A. I happened to have a USB-A to USB-C cable which worked to recharge the board. Second, documentation included in the box on how to use the different screens and what settings do is sorely lacking, and the majority of the instructions on the website are for ChessUp 1, not ChessUp 2. Luckily, there are several YouTube videos that filled the gap. The product itself deserves a 5, but due to these shortcomings I gave it a 4.”

“Top-shelf experience in every way. Wicked cool product from the innovative hardware to the easy UI. My kids love playing with it and I enjoy them having a better learning experience than any other chess board ever developed. Nice to know we can switch it off to play with a strictly physical board once they're ready. We were also part of the Kickstarter campaign for ChessUp 2 and had the chance to interact quite a bit with Jeff and Veronica. Very kind, helpful, passionate, and responsive team. Thank you for making such an immense contribution to THE classic game!”

“The board is absolutely outstanding, I've played it everyday since I got it! One problem though. I would say maybe 1/8 of the online games that I play freeze on the 2nd move, so I lose ELO on that. I don't think its an internet issue, as I've played in good and bad internet and it doesn't change the glitch. Other than that, I love the board so much. Great price and shipping, came in undamaged, and the 2 player mode has so many different options. 100 stars!”

“The Chessup 2 board set is an incredible product. The ability to play chess OTB against live players across the globe or with computer bots is very well handled with this product. There are several ways integrated into the board to help teach anyone to play chess and improve with lessons. The set is made very solid and the pieces weigh an appropriate amount and feel great. No need to use a phone app while playing online which is a great plus of this product. And to top it all the company provides incredible support in a very timely manner to make sure your experience is well handled. No hesitancy to recommend this product.”

“Hi. I received a chessup2 as a gift from a friend. It is perfect. However white king piece was not working properly. It was not recognized by the board. I emailed the support team about my issue. They replied to my email within a couple of hours! and they sent me a new one. Bryght as a company is very professional and efficient! I would highly recommend Them to anyone interested in chess. “Love my ChessUp smart board! It makes learning chess so much fun! My king piece is not working properly. It was not recognizing the king was on the board. I emailed the support team about my issue. They replied to my email within a couple of hours! They are sending me a new piece "FOR FREE"! They also sent me to a part of their website where a can obtain spair pairs if needed, or want. Bryght as a company is very professional and efficient! I would highly recommend Them to anyone interested in chess.”

“Although the initial board i received was dysfunctional, Bryght Labs was quick to respond and provide assistance with troubleshooting. Once it was deemed the board needed replaced, a replacement was confirmed and ready to be shipped overseas before i could even reply with a thank you! Great work guys, much appreciated.”

“For new purchasers, BEWARE - ‘The Easy 30 Day Refund Policy’, which has not been honored in my case (based in UK). I made payment by Visa Debit, and the item was delivered fine. Unfortunetly it was a gift and I needed to make a return. I had a quick response to my enquiry 07.01.25 and was e-mailed the returns label confirming refund 1-2 business days after receipt. The receipt of the returned item (sent to the Netherlands) was confirmed 10.01.25, and that refund credit would be received within 14 days. On 24.01.25 the refund has still not been received, and Bryghtlabs are not responding to my messages. So now I do not have an item and have lost my payment.”

“The Support of Chess Up is the worst ive ever seen. The new chessboard is not working - none of the required chargers are working & the system is shutting down even during games. 3 Emails later the support still isnt able to reply - this company isnt a serious one!”

“Maybe my posting will help potential customers. I have tried to contact this company for nearly two months via emails and phone calls to no avail. I could understand waiting several weeks but not months. How can a company be trusted to provide customer support after purchase if they won't respond before purchase? Although I read reviews posted here that seem real, maybe they are fake. No one other than them can ever know for sure. As for me, I find them suspicious. The product seems really cool but no one at the company will take the time to respond. I hope customers get their expectations filled. I wanted to be one of you. As for everyone else, be warned that you might find yourself without help after purchase.”
