“For new purchasers, BEWARE - ‘The Easy 30 Day Refund Policy’, which has not been honored in my case (based in UK).
I made payment by Visa Debit, and the item was delivered fine. Unfortunetly it was a gift and I needed to make a return. I had a quick response to my enquiry 07.01.25 and was e-mailed the returns label confirming refund 1-2 business days after receipt. The receipt of the returned item (sent to the Netherlands) was confirmed 10.01.25, and that refund credit would be received within 14 days. On 24.01.25 the refund has still not been received, and Bryghtlabs are not responding to my messages.
So now I do not have an item and have lost my payment.”

“Maybe my posting will help potential customers. I have tried to contact this company for nearly two months via emails and phone calls to no avail. I could understand waiting several weeks but not months. How can a company be trusted to provide customer support after purchase if they won't respond before purchase? Although I read reviews posted here that seem real, maybe they are fake. No one other than them can ever know for sure. As for me, I find them suspicious. The product seems really cool but no one at the company will take the time to respond.
I hope customers get their expectations filled. I wanted to be one of you. As for everyone else, be warned that you might find yourself without help after purchase.”

“the chessup 2 board is totaly cool, with cool features and it shuld come with lessons(even though i did not see them in the app, if someone know what is the problem pls tell me) and game review but when i bought it and installed the app, i saw that almost every feature that on the board is free in the app, and only 2 player mode unlocked with the board. it means i paid 300 dollars for only playing on a real board, cuz the game assistance included in the free app so yea... the build in wifi and screen is cool, but the price is not great and this is why 4 stars.”
“When setting up the pieces, the board lights up like a Christmas tree. It has a hard time knowing if the piece is there or not, and flashes even though the piece is on the square. Some pieces/spaces detect better than others but it’s hard playing a game of chess when the board is flashing rapidly.”
