That said, the Christmas Forest is London’s favourite independent retailer – or treetailer – of real Christmas trees.

“Tree is lovely! We could only get a 4ft one as we live in a small, one bed flat but for a small tree it is perfect - really well filled out and straight as a rod. Order process was really easy. Only downside: the order confirmation email said I'd get an email when the tree was dispatched, but I didn't hear anything further until a call when the driver was 15 mins away. Not such a big deal if you don't mind sitting at home all day (as you choose your delivery day, delivery due between 8am and 10pm), but would have been nicer to get a delivery window of a few hours so we still could have done something with our day.”
