I usually wear double wear but this can be a bit heavy this time of year so was looking for something slightly lighter but with great wear and this is it! “I used to use Maybelline Superstay 24H Liquid Foundation but found this too heavy on the skin + would flake in my smile lines. The Ciate foundation feels super hydrating and the coverage is great without that cakey feeling. would totally recommend. also glad that its in a plastic case not glass, don't have to worry about it getting damaged in my makeup bag!”
“I was really pleasantly surprised with this foundation. The colour I got (linen) is the best match to my skin I've ever found - foundations tend to be either too yellow or too pink for me - and it didn't oxidise at all. With foundations my skin seems to eat it and I'm left with patchy, flaky looking coverage at the end of the day but I didn't with this one, it lasted quite well and the areas it had worn off, like around my nose, it didn't look obvious. It covered the larger pores on my cheeks really well, as well as the redness on my cheeks which I often struggle to mask. The only reason I gave it four stars and not five is because it clung to the little peach fuzz hairs on my face and emphasised them (removing the hair gives a really smooth application though) and also I wouldn't say it was 16 hour wear if you're a sweaty, oily mess like me. It does actually build up nicely too, and you can touch it up without it looking odd. Overall, this is currently my favourite foundation in my collection, and I'm not easy to please AT ALL with foundations, I pretty much just tolerate all the other ones I have.”
