We both agree that the nail polish is of exceptional quality with a fabulous array of ‘lush’ shades. The set of 24 will certainly last through the next 12 months but we’re already excited for new colours in this years advent calendar!”
“I bought this Advent Calendar as a pre-Christmas treat to myself. It's nice packaging if you want to enjoy it as an Advent Calendar but I just slid the inner plastic packaging out from the cardboard and use that as a holder for all the bottles as I wanted to have a choice of all at once and make use of the top coat and nail conditioner straight-away.
I don't know if I am hard on nails but I find that usually any nail polish is badly chipped within 24 hours so I usually stick to colourless. To my surprise this nail polish really is long lasting and doesn't chip for several days. I'm trying each colour and managing to keep it on for a week which is the first nail polish I've found that I am able to do that with.
Some of the glitters are very difficult to get off and I'm going to be quite cautious of them in the future. The Kaleidoscope (silver glitter) was especially bad and I spent ages scraping the rest off after several soakings with nail polish remover. That one didn't go on well either - it was just a little bit of random glitter and looked messy so I did several coats. Maybe this is why I had such trouble getting it off.
One bottle is called Jelly Oil but there is no indication as to how I use it. Do I paint it on and leave it to dry (a long time) or do I massage it in? I wish it said on the box (or Internet) about this.
I find the cream colours excellent - they go on very well with a nice wide shaped brush. They also cover in two coats. I do two coats of the colour and one of the top clear colour as it says on the box.
I got this box for £24.95 and am very pleased with it - it'll last me all year, if not longer, for sure.”
