On the dial, luminous hands and markers stand out against a black background for high legibility, while a rotating compass scale surrounds the look, and the digital-analog display ensures complete focus on the mission. The watch’s advanced capabilities include a world time display, chronograph, alarm, light level indicator, perpetual calendar, power save mode, charge level display, and summertime mode. “This watch is great. Perfect for my travels. I travels overseas to Hong Kong, Tokyo and Germany as well. It’s got a nice weight to it for durability, let you know it’s there. I’m spend a lot of time outdoors and need a rugged watch for my travels.”

“I thought it looked sharp online in the green. But I ordered the black/charcoal, and I like the color and the watch even better in person than what I saw online. This makes 4 Citizen watches in my fleet. Wish I had more wrists!”

“I purchased my promaster land u822 directly from citizen. It arrived promptly on 10/21/25. I Like its look and feel. The watch should be larger maybe 48mm to 50mm. After I received the watch I needed some assistance setting up the time and date. I placed a call to the help line. The person on the phone was very polite and guided me through the process. I was confused and very disappointed with the large set screw for time ,it really did nothing. It did back light the day and date. Maybe future versions of the line will address this issue. MW”

“I don’t have any complaints for this watch. I love the analog digital combination. It was fairly easy to set up and the analog display doesn’t bother me when using the digital display. It fits well. Plus it is solar powered. If I had one complaint, it would be the price but you get what you pay for and this watch has all the features I need in one.”
