A classic never goes out of style. The newly reimagined Promaster Dive Automatic men’s watch by Citizen goes deeper into the history of the original version of this diving watch that was released in 1989 for the new generation of dive watch enthusiasts. A design element that stands out is the distinctive, serrated bezel design that was inspired by a “Fugu,” the Japanese name for pufferfish. Featuring a 3-piece, 44mm case, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, and durable blue polyurethane strap, the blue easy grip aluminum ring surrounds the white fully luminous dial, while the case back features an engraving of a fugu or pufferfish. This technically advanced and stylish men’s sport watch powered by the motion of your wrist comes in an exclusive collector’s dive tank box and is ISO compliant with a screw-down crown and water resistant to 200 meters. Caliber 8204.

The color on the all-lume face looks fantastic in the sun & in the dark. I was hoping it wouldn’t look sickly yellow, and it sure doesn’t. Looks almost white in the sun. The blue bezel is a perfect compliment to the blue band. Purchased this watch specifically to get wet (beach, boats). It’s my second Citizen automatic; just know that you’re leaving the Eco-Drive universe. Automatic watches are great, but you’ve gotta be ready to either wear it or, or set it each time you’ve given it a break. Great watch; looks so good I’m already shopping for other color variants of the Fugu model.

Very nice looking watch. Looks smaller on the wrist than I expected for how big it is. It’s really comfortable to wear.

This is a beautiful watch and a great design. I like how the screw in knob is on the left side. I am left handed and I wear my watch on my right arm so the knob then sits on the left side of the watch. The only negative is the band. It’s a nice color and looks good but it is very stiff and difficult to put on and take off.

The dial is subtle and easy to read. The band is comfortable for active wearing. The crown is in an excellent place for a lefty.

The contrast between ivory dial and black case is fascinating, and the lume is fun to see in the dark. If you are a watch enthusiast, it's collectible just because of the combination of the watch: ivory dial, black case, full-lume with mesmerizing pattern, deep blue bezel. Furthermore, ISO 200m water resistant. Where can you find this kind of watch? It's fun but not childish. Love it!
