A classic never goes out of style. The newly reimagined Promaster Dive Automatic men’s watch by Citizen goes deeper into the history of the original version of this diving watch that was released in 1989 for the new generation of dive watch enthusiasts. A design element that stands out is the distinctive, serrated bezel design that was inspired by a “Fugu,” the Japanese name for pufferfish. Featuring a 3-piece, 44mm case, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, and durable blue polyurethane strap, the blue easy grip aluminum ring surrounds the white fully luminous dial, while the case back features an engraving of a fugu or pufferfish. This technically advanced and stylish men’s sport watch powered by the motion of your wrist comes in an exclusive collector’s dive tank box and is ISO compliant with a screw-down crown and water resistant to 200 meters. Caliber 8204.

The purchase process was easy and intuitive. The product arrived earlier than promised. The watch is exactly as indicated in the promotion, and is more accurate than expected. However, the rubber strap, while the perfect color to complement the blue bezel, was very self adherent, difficult to fasten, and uncomfortable. It must have also been made of poor quality rubber, because it broke within the first two days of use, necessitating an immediate replacement.

Good solid piece that's not to be dismissed. I have some very nice watches, many of which are far more expensive, and this Promaster holds its own.

Was looking for my first citizen watch and this one caught my eye. Im happy with the purchase. The dial color looks so great with the blue bezel and strap. The pictures on the website don't do the watch justice. It's easily favorite watch too wear.

Well, I love the Face Shade of Pale Yellow and I lean into Black Watches as a whole...but I am totally Anti Rubber bracelets as they rub my skin and the strap always has excess material that always finds a way of hanging up on something. And as Black 3 Link Bracelets always seen to get dinged up due to PVD not up to or easily marred...I've come to Love them at a Distance. What I personally would love is that face same watch only in Brushed Silver or blasted for a mat finish and a couple of contrasting outer Chapter Ring in matching finish, Black Mat, Black reflective, Dark Gray and of course with the Pip and a "real" Bracelet...3-5 link options. But then again if I'm dreaming I'd like 6 Winning Lotto Ticket Numbers as well. Over All I love these Watches and I have a Promaster Dive waiting at the PO at the moment. The Lack of a Real Bracelet and the lack of a Silver Version is the only reason for 4 instead of 5 Stars and has nothing to do with Quality of Materials and Workmanship just personal preferences.
