This class was okay. The teacher, Will, was nice, but also would not stop talking to the point that it was a bit irritating. Amongst other things he rambled about how if *we* could just be quite and pay attention he'd be able to get through the lesson faster. He made a lot of jokes, some were funny, but others were a bit too far and made people in the class uncomfortable. Will says he usually has an assistant, which he didnt have during our class. It was clear he was running around doing a lot of work and would have benefitted from an aid. That being said, when people asked for drinks once the class had already started (the class comes with 2 drink tokens) Will was a little snappy and would tell them to wait and that he didnt have time to get them a drink while running around teaching the class

We had a great experience at the sushi making class with Will. He had amazing energy and made the learning enjoyable. He was able to keep it lighthearted while also giving us clear and concise instructions on how to make sushi. Quality of ingredients was great as well and the food tastes great once we got to eat it.

I did the sushi cooking class with Will. I received it as a gift voucher and went solo and absolutely loved it! It was a pretty big group but he made sure everyone was engaged and didn’t miss a step. Will was great at giving instructions and you can tell he is really an expert in the craft. The helpers he had were also very efficient and helpful. In the 3 hrs you learn how to make 5 different types of sushi and I definitely learnt a lot. You also receive 2 books in an email afterwards which I look forward to checking out! Would highly recommend

I bought this as a birthday present for my friend. Positives were learning the etiquette and background info in terms of ingredients/where to buy as well as eating the sushi we made. However I do not think it was worth the money at all. The instructor spent most of the time over explaining how to do things and also waffling in between, but then would rush us when we were doing what he instructed so we couldn’t enjoy the process. He was jokey which was nice but I think he took it too far at times and made some people feel uncomfortable when telling them off for benign things - again we’ve paid so much money, it’s not conducive for a positive atmosphere when people are being scolded for not cleaning their station properly or for wanting to use a sauce. Lastly the venue was very industrial, white light and basic - I expected there to be more of an ambience given you’re selling an experience.
