“The teacher was absolutely lovely and supportive. The quality of the materials and the delivery etc was great. Unfortunately, I really struggled during the session and needed a lot of repetitions and slow personalised help which I appreciate I couldn't get as it was a group session and there were several things to be taught in the session with limited time. I was stuck on making a basic chain for most of the 1.5hr session. I would book again but in the far future when I have learnt how to do the basic stuff myself perhaps. I think a survey type thing before the class, to assess each session learner's confidence level and skill level would be good, to get a more accurate idea of abilities and to ensure everyone gets to actually make something in the session.”
“Opportunity to learn the basic stitches and practice these with guidance.
Had tried on my own from a book before and couldn’t work it out so helpful session to get you started.
Covered chain stitch, double crochet and triple crochet, finishing off and switching yarns.
Some helpful tips on yarn and hook sizes.”
“Great crochet class. Excellent communication and well paced teaching from Chrissie. Realy enjoyed the class and the information provided is so helpful. Looking forward to more crochet practice and classes.”
“I felt I really got on very very well. I enjoyed the session the host was friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. I am really pleased I did this and I feel confident to practise on my own.”
“Gina was incredibly kind and an amazing teacher. She explained everything clearly and patiently, taking the time to go over the topics multiple times to make sure everyone was on the same page. What I appreciated most was her step-by-step approach and the way she paced the class to ensure no one was left behind. I’m really happy I got to attend her class.”
“Clear, concise class wirh very helpful tuition and better than a book or just watching a video. Very helpful and therapeutic, thank you. Will book another.”
“Before the class I could just do the chain stitch (badly) but with the guidance of Chrissie I tried the double and treble crochet stitch. Thank you for your patience.”
