This is a fun activity in Greasby, Liverpool

Hello & Welcome to my Pottery Taster Session listing.

Please read carefully what your session will involve.

I have tried to put as much detail as I can, so you can easily decide if it’s for you or not.

The idea behind the Taster Session is to give you time to have a go on the Potters Wheel and try some Hand Building Techniques, so your time will be 1 hour for each activity.

Don't worry if this is your first time working with clay, as the class is designed with beginners in mind. Everything you need will be provided for you, and I will be on hand to give you tips and advice to help you get the most out of the session.

You'll leave the class with a sense of accomplishment and filled with new pottery skills that you can use for more projects in the future.

Depending on which option you choose, you will either take home what you make on the day (your 3 best creations) or leave your creations to have a 9 hour bisque firing followed by a 9 hour clear glaze firing.

Your Pottery will normally be ready for collection 4-8 weeks after your session.
This is very dependant on the weather conditions as the clay needs to dry naturally before it can be fired.

PLEASE NOTE:
Once you have been messaged to say your Pottery is ready for collection your Pottery can only be kept for two weeks as I do not have the storage space to hold your Pottery any longer.

Had an amazing time at the Pottery Taster class. The free hand and the potters wheel were both great. Interesting, informative and lots of fun. Bought for my wife who had it on her bucket list, and she loved it. Would definitely recommend

It was for my friends birthday, we love watching pottery show down. Joan was amazing! A good teacher at explaining the process and letting us have a really good experience on the wheel and building. The venue was brilliant she has really build an amazing studio, it was very welcoming. The whole class was so enjoyable from start to finish! Good value for money as we get to go an collect our creations once they have been fired I loved the wheel the best, Joan showed us how to use it and create our own bowl, with in one hour we managed to creat something which shows how good of a teacher she is. I really appreciate her sharing her skills.

Fantastic pottery taster session with Joan. Such a welcoming, knowledgable and patient teacher. She even managed to get us to make something we wanted to take home and use! It has inspired us to look at a longer course.

I had a great time, I booked a private session because I had 4 very enthusiastic friends interested in giving it a go. It was very exciting to have actually created something both with the pots and the tea lights. Using a potters wheel was a completely new experience and I highly recommend it. Joan is very knowledgeable and patient teacher.
