This is a fun activity in Earlsfield, London

In this engaging wheel throwing class in London, you'll learn the basics of making your pots from scratch on the potter's wheel.

It will begin with a brief demonstration so you can familiarise yourself with the process. You'll take turns trying out your new skills on the wheel with the teacher's guidance. Me-time between pottery attempts will provide some rest, so soak up the experience.

The longer class duration of two and a half hours will give you the time to perfect your ceramic pieces. By the end of this activity, you'll leave with two finished pots that you can claim in about three to four weeks. You can even make a third pot, however, a £10. surcharge is made to each extra pot.

Don't fret if you're new to pottery, as this class offers a relaxed and supportive environment ideal for beginners. During the class, you'll be encouraged to ask questions and refine your skills. The teacher will be there to offer guidance and help you make the most out of your time at the wheel. You'll be surprised at just how therapeutic and enjoyable this activity can be. All in all, it'll be a fun and creative way to spend an afternoon in London.

As your final reward for your efforts, you will take home a pair of glazed pots that will feel like unique masterpieces that you've crafted from scratch.

Patrick was extremely skilled. Very patient, and working with only two students total was perfect to ensure maximum time on the wheel and engagement. I will definitely take this up going forward and am so happy with the products made, thank you!

My husband and I finally got around to using our gift voucher - and so glad we picked Patrick's excellent Wheel Throwing Pottery Workshop! From the initial booking until the end of the class Patrick proved to be an enthusiastic and engaging communicator and educator and a true master of his craft. The class was well structured with lots of hands-on work including some 'free work' time at the end to create what we liked! The class was very practical, with some essential history and anecdotes from his long career for context. Above all, it was hugely enjoyable and we got some pretty respectable pots to take home at the end - if they survive the kiln. All in all, a very enjoyable experience and one we highly recommend! Thank you!
