This is a fun activity in Earlsfield. , London

In this engaging wheel throwing class in London, you'll learn the basics of making your pots from scratch on the potter's wheel.

It will begin with a brief demonstration so you can familiarise yourself with the process. You'll take turns trying out your new skills on the wheel with the teacher's guidance. Me-time between pottery attempts will provide some rest, so soak up the experience.

The longer class duration of two and a half hours will give you the time to perfect your ceramic pieces. By the end of this activity, you'll leave with two finished pots that you can claim in about three to four weeks. You can even make a third pot, however, a £7.50 surcharge is made to each extra pot.

Don't fret if you're new to pottery, as this class offers a relaxed and supportive environment ideal for beginners. During the class, you'll be encouraged to ask questions and refine your skills. The teacher will be there to offer guidance and help you make the most out of your time at the wheel. You'll be surprised at just how therapeutic and enjoyable this activity can be. All in all, it'll be a fun and creative way to spend an afternoon in London.

As your final reward for your efforts, you will take home a pair of glazed pots that will feel like unique masterpieces that you've crafted from scratch.

Was very accomodating! We were entertained by Patrick even though we were half and hour early. We even finished on the agreed time. Patrick is passionate with his craft and provides excellent teaching for all levels of pottery making. Highly recommended and very much worth the time and money!

Had an amazing time at Patrik's wheel pottery class! Learned some cool techniques, from centering clay to crafting pots, bowls, and a fancy vase. We dove into different clay types and firing methods—really interesting stuff. I highly recommend giving his class a shot. Time flew by—those two and a half hours were a blur. Managed to choose two pots to be glazed and fired from the bunch we created, and even nailed down the colours. Thanks for the fantastic experience, Patrik! P.

This was a great taster session. The private class setting meant we could really get stuck into it. And Patrick was a brilliant teacher with a hands-on approach that meant we could make the most of it. Loved chatting and finding out about the whole pottery process too.
