Looking for a relaxed London activity where you can switch off, get creative and try something new? Join us at our Deptford pottery studio for a fun, hands-on clay experience!

Perfect for complete beginners, you’ll learn the basics of pottery with guidance from our friendly tutors. Start with a live demonstration, then get hands-on and try throwing your own pots on the wheel.

Whether you’re looking for a fun day out, a creative date, or simply some time to unwind, come along, get your hands dirty and make something completely your own!

At the end of the session, you can choose your favourite pieces to be fired and glazed, ready to collect and enjoy at home.

Before booking, please note:
- A minimum of 4 participants is required for the class to go ahead. If fewer than 4 are booked, we may cancel or reschedule.
- A £5 materials and firing fee applies per piece you choose to keep.
- No cancellations or rescheduling are permitted. This does not apply if we cancel the class.

“Myself and my husband attended a pottery taster class with Ariana. We made several items using both the wheel and hand crafted. No restrictions on how many items. Teaching with great and broken down easy to follow steps and there was lots of hands on time which was supported with guidance when needed. A great fun class and great facility. Ari was a great teacher with a really nice, calm way that made you feel really supported and showed her passion for what she does. Highly recommend!”

“Ariana was very informative & patient, explaining each step very clearly. We found the throwing very therapeutic but not enough time to get stuck in with the freestyle slabbing, coiling etc The only downside was the pots were not marked at time of making so there was confusion identifying the pots you made at the end of the session”

“Very enjoyable experience and good tutors. We would have liked to go step by step for our first attempt at the wheel as there were much info to take in before we started. We also would have prefered to have 2 hours at the wheel instead of 1.30 and less time at the table, it felt a little bit underwhelming after the excitement of trying pottery on the wheel. To be taught how to improve our objects later on at the table with the various tools would be good too. But we'd like to do it again!”
