This is a fun activity in Deptford, London

Are you searching for relaxed and calming activities in London, away from a hectic city lifestyle? Unwind and release your creativity by joining a pottery making workshop in Deptford!

Beginners are welcome to this London pottery class. You'll receive plenty of support from your teacher as you transform clay into handmade pottery pieces. Your local teacher will guide you through hand-building techniques using coils and slabs. You'll also get to try wheel throwing!

No matter your experience level, whether you're a novice or an experienced clay artist, this workshop provides an excellent opportunity to relax in a beautiful London pottery studio and explore your creative side.

After the session, your pottery will be taken to be fired and glazed and will be available for collection after three weeks. You can then showcase your beautiful pieces at home or gift them to your loved ones!

Please note:
- This workshop is only for age 11 or above.
- Your finished pieces will be fired and glazed, ready to collect 4 weeks after the class.
- Please come 10 minutes prior to the start of the class, as this will allow you to sign in and not miss any demo.
- It is your responsibility to arrive on time for the class. Upon arriving to your class 30 minutes or later, we have the right to reject you joining the class without any refund or rescheduling.

- A materials fee of £5 per piece of pottery is not included in the class price and is payable on the day of your workshop with cash or bank transfer.
-Pieces are ready around 4-5 weeks after the class. We will send you an email when they are ready to be collected. Please check you email and spam folder. We will keep your pots in the studio for a month. If not collected in time they may be disposed of.
- No cancellations or reschedules allowed.
- During summer, there is no air conditioning in the studio, so please bring water and dress for the heat!
- During winter, it would be a bit cold in the studio. Whilst we try our best to keep the studio warm, please prepare an extra coat or clothes to keep yourself warm during class.

*** Please note that due to the nature of clay, results may differ from expectation, including but not limited to:
- Glaze may vary from examples and are for reference only
- Texture created may not shown in the final result
- Pots will appear smaller from what you created from class, since clay have a 15% shrinkage
- Pots may not be completely cleaned and may have small lumps of clay
- Pots may be cracked or exploded

We try our best to mitigate this problem but these are inevitable. Unfortunately, the class is non-refundable and we are only able to reimburse you if your work exploded.

Such a great class! Arianna was a great teacher and we had the best time. We’d never done any pottery before and were a bit nervous, but we were perfectly at ease in the class. Would definitely recommend!

Ari was a wonderful teacher; kind and patient. She explained clearly the steps and took the time to check on every student. The class was very fun and I can't wait to go back to see the finished clay products.

Myself and a couple of friends took this course and we loved every second of it - the only real problem is I enjoyed it so much it went by too quickly! Ariana was an incredible teacher; helpful, clear and obviously a lover of ceramics which showed in her enthusiasm. I walked away amazed that I had 4 pieces I was happy to pay for glazing, thanks to the guidance and enjoyment of the class.
