Really enjoyed the class! It was a small group of 8 with a nice casual vibe. We watched how it was done first then quickly set to work. We got to make around 4-5 pieces and then keep our favourite (and pay a small surplus if we wanted to keep more). Phillipa was really helpful, walking around to share support and guidance where needed.

My wife and I had a great time and Dulce was a fantastic teacher. I am sure my ‘pots’ would have stayed as shapeless lumps of clay if she hadn’t been there to help! Highly recommend it!

We all enjoyed the class, however, there was not a good enough teacher to participant ratio. This meant my sister was left with very little assistance from the teacher because there were too many other people for her to have to assist. It must be added, I myself, am completely blind, the teacher was fantastic in making things inclusive and supporting me when I needed her help. The equipment was dirty on arrival as were the aprons. The cleaning up process at the end took some time so I think the overall length of the class should have been extended. It didn’t feel like it was very long that we were able to do the activity itself, but that might just be because we enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely book again but would have been much happier with the experience had there been either less participants or more teachers.

Humorous pottery tutor, peaceful atmosphere. It was an interesting first time experience, albeit messy. I look forward to collecting the glazed bowl. I’d come back for a clay hand building class instead.
