Perfect for compete beginners, this relaxed 2 hour throwing class is the perfect choice if you've always wanted to learn to throw a pot on the wheel in a fun and supportive environment.

Experience the magic of turning a lump of clay into your own handmade piece of art. You'll be throwing under the guidance of one of our friendly, local teachers who has plenty of top tips to share with you. Each wheel throwing class is two hours long and you will learn foundational skills for crafting beautiful pots on the pottery wheel.

Not only will you learn an incredible new skill, but you'll also find a sense of calm and relaxation as you immerse yourself in the meditative process of pottery throwing. Step inside this warm and welcoming pottery studio and leave with your very own handmade pottery.

At the end of the session, you can choose to have your favourite piece or more glazed and fired in a ceramic kiln for £7.50 each. We offer a wide variety of glaze colour options for you to choose from!

Finished ceramics are food-safe and are usually ready for collection within 4-6 weeks. We also offer postage option if you are unable to collect your pieces.

davide was an excellent teacher and made it very clear the processes of making a pot. From centering to pulling and beyond. There was a lot to take in but helps with having some helpful guides around the room so you're not constantly asking what steps next. Look forward to see my piece fired.

Really enjoyed our beginners pottery class today. Lauren our teacher was very friendly and helped us out when we had a few creative difficulties, showing us how to rescue and improve these. Lots of fun and learned a new skill. Great communication by text message beforehand with details of the class.
