This is a fun activity in Edinburgh

On the hunt for some alternative group activities in Edinburgh? Whether you're looking for hen party ideas or birthday party and date night activities, this crafty Edinburgh experience is a real crowd-pleaser!

Purchase a drink at the bar on arrival to get those creative juices flowing as you learn how to sculpt pottery and craft your own clay creation in the heart of Edinburgh.

New to pottery making? Don't worry, no previous experience is necessary. Buy some dutch courage at the bar and dive hands first into the clay to make some sculpted pottery pieces you'll be proud of!

Along the way, this pottery class will guide you as you're encouraged to let your imagination run wild as you learn the basics of sculpting with Airy Dry Clay.

By the end of this relaxing pottery class in Edinburgh, you'll have your own clay creation to take away and admire and some new sculpting skills too! Drinks are not included, but will be available for purchase from the bar.

Please note:
- This event is not BYOB but the bar will be open.
- As our venues are licensed and serve alcohol, some may be restricted to guests aged 18 and over. If you are planning to attend with anyone under the age of 18, please check directly with the venue before purchasing tickets.

Please note for private bookings:
- If you’d like us to come to your chosen location within Edinburgh city centre, a travel fee of £60 will be added after booking. If you're outside the centre, please let us know if you’d like a quote. Typically, no travel fees apply if you choose one of our partner venues.

Great fun, really nice to try something new and Isla & Izzy were really lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend. Only tiny issue was trying to find the right room as no directions to the class but we managed and had a fantastic evening. Tricky to take pics as our hands were covered in clay!

Ida (the instructor) was really good and had some good tips for our pottery! We went to the counting house in Edinburgh and I don't think this is a good location for it. Previously, I have been to similar workshops (for less cost) and we could bring our own alcohol. The counting house were charging us in addition to the class and wouldn't even let us pay corkage. For that reason, I think the class is overpriced and wouldn't go back or recommend to anyone.

Really fun time, got this as a birthday present for my sister and we really enjoyed it. The women running the class were very helpful and gave us extra time to finish as the class had started a bit later than expected.

We had a great time last night. The venue was nice, and the teacher was very good. I spent some great time with my wife and another couple trying to build stuff. It was fun.
