Learn the process of mono-screen printing with Underway Studio and create your own three colour print! In Underway Studio's themed workshops you’ll learn a simple screenprinting method to create a unique, three colour print inspired by a choice of images. You will be introduced to basic screenprinting equipment as well as learning a brief history of the process. Over 2.5 hours, your talented tutors will teach you how to use both paper stencils and pre-exposed photographic screens to make a striking screenprint in response to your chosen image. You will walk away from the session with your very own piece of art!
No worries if you're new to the world of art—this class is designed for beginners, and no previous artistic experience is required. No need to prepare any artwork before the session either. Underway Studio will be teaching you how to build a print from scratch using paper stencils and a choice of two photographs that have been pre-exposed onto screens before the class. Your teacher will provide all the necessary materials, along with a selection of refreshments, including hot drinks and biscuits.
