“Cody was a fantastic teacher, she was patient and encouraging and was very hands on in assisting us during the course. It is a lovely cosy studio and the class size is great for being able to get help when you need it. I took along a bowl to be repaired and I was so pleased with it! a great relaxing activity to do with anyone”
“Amazing class. The occasion was my girlfriend's birthday, who had no idea what was going on. The instructor, Cody, was amazing, and walked us through step-by-step in a very informative way. The materials were provided and all very nice.
We learnt how to reconstruct a ceramic bowl from scratch. We started with a short talk on the historical context of Kintsugi, and the philosophy surrounding it (beauty in imperfection). Very interesting stuff!
I think it was great value for money! It was an amazing time. :)”
“We thoroughly enjoyed our introduction to this fascinating and beautiful art and we're very proud of the pieces we brought home. Cody is a wonderful teacher.”
“As soon as we arrived, we knew Cody's class was going to be good - she was really welcoming and her professional credentials meant we were in good hands. The class was pitched at the right level - we had time to try out what we'd learned yet Cody was on hand to give support, tips and encouragement if we needed it.
I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who'd like to try this beautiful craft for themselves.”
“The workshop was intimate and meditative, I enjoyed learning about the philosophy behind kintsugi and the processes. The teacher was lovely and patient and made everyone feel at ease. I’m very happy with my reconstructed bowl!”
