Kintsugi Workshop Reviews

Amazing class. The occasion was my girlfriend's birthday, who had no idea what was going on. The instructor, Cody, was amazing, and walked us through step-by-step in a very informative way. The materials were provided and all very nice. We learnt how to reconstruct a ceramic bowl from scratch. We started with a short talk on the historical context of Kintsugi, and the philosophy surrounding it (beauty in imperfection). Very interesting stuff! I think it was great value for money! It was an amazing time. :)

As soon as we arrived, we knew Cody's class was going to be good - she was really welcoming and her professional credentials meant we were in good hands. The class was pitched at the right level - we had time to try out what we'd learned yet Cody was on hand to give support, tips and encouragement if we needed it. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who'd like to try this beautiful craft for themselves.

We learned the basics of Kintsugi with The Salvage Company London, the workshop was really cool and Cody took us along the basics of this restoration art. We really enjoyed it and got home with a beautiful piece of art. We'll repeat it for sure!
