I was bought the experience for my last birthday and I’m thrilled that I finally got around to booking my session. Our teacher Milo was excellent, the explanations were clear and we were allowed to have a go within minutes. The time flew and my partner and I enjoyed creating an assortment of pots. Thankyou, I’ll definitely have to have another go in the near future. We can’t wait for our pots to be delivered.

The class was really fun! The teacher taught us well and showed us a couple of techniques On the downside, I didn’t realise we can only make miniature items, I wanted to make something a bit bigger

We had a private class for 11 people and there were enough wheels for 1 each. Clay was already prepared for us so we could jump straight into creating our "masterpieces". We all had a great time, and Kishi was a fantastic teacher. Thanks for a fun evening!

The experience was fine overall, the facilities were good and we had more than enough clay and space to work it. The problem was that the coaching was minimal at best, they showed a large crowd what to do pretty quickly and then just left you to it. There was no walking round from the teachers asking 'how are you getting on?', but instead they just silently stood to the side, and when we asked for assistance they just did it for us. I did not leave feeling any better at pottery (I had never done pottery beforehand), neither did my partner. Also, it is unacceptable to take up 25 minutes of a 2 hour session with us cleaning up. I can understand that it is a valuable and respectful thing to do as a guest, but it is a waste of our money to spend almost 25% of the session cleaning up mostly other people's mess. I have taken part in 'expert' sessions in other experiences before (cocktail making, painting etc.) and I have never been asked to clean up the whole room within the paid-for time. This was a particularly disappointing aspect.
