A well-paced class with a knowledgeable tutor who provided lots of tips for completing the acrylic painting by the end of the two-hour class but also snippets about the history of Pointilism. “Teacher was great and she provided insights into the history of pointillism in between her directions. It was interesting and I learned new things. The teacher was so right in 'trust the process' as initially the picture looked almost childish but after a few layers of colour it started to come together. I chose this course to use my gift voucher on and the process was very easy.”
“I didn't hear the lady say her name but she appeared friendly and welcoming. The pace was set for a total beginner and there was masses of time to achieve one painting. Pointillism is a series of tiny dots but this workshop was using the brushes and making small brush marks and brush strokes instead. I have done Pointillism before using the technique of tiny dots and it was very effective calming and enjoyable. Maybe I should have done my own thing with the idea today. Will repeat the picture and see which one is better! I think I might possibly already know the answer to that! Thank you”
