NOT RECOMMENDED AS A GIFT FOR A SOLO PARTICIPANT This class was a gift and I was really looking forward to it. I arrived first and we were told we could choose any pottery wheel station. I chose one directly in front of the instructor because English is not my first language and I wanted to follow the demonstrations clearly. Just before the class started, after everyone else had settled in, I was asked in front of the whole group to move to another station to accommodate the last arrivals. Having arrived first and followed the instructions given, I found this uncomfortable and frustrating, and it affected my enjoyment of the experience. My suggestion would be to assign stations from the beginning if group arrangements are important, rather than asking participants to choose freely and then moving people afterwards. Unfortunately, I would not choose this class again, nor would I recommend it as a gift for someone attending alone.
