This is a fun activity in Wolverton, Milton Keynes
Come and join me for a fun in-person class on how to crochet and make a granny square, the foundation of many crochet items.
I will guide you through each step at this in-person event at my home in Wolverton, Milton Keynes. Class sizes are limited to five so that we can all sit comfortably around a table together and I can ensure that everyone receives the attention they need. This class is suitable for right and left-handed students.
During the workshop, we will cover:
- How to hold your hook and yarn
- Chain stitch
- Slip stitch
- The treble crochet stitch
- How to make a granny square
- How to join rows
- How to make colour changes
During the class, you'll have the opportunity to connect with fellow crochet enthusiasts, exchange tips, and share your love for this relaxing hobby. Plus, you'll leave with your very own granny square creation, ready to continue at home. To help you do this I will also provide you with a resource sheet you can refer to as needed.
This workshop is suitable for both complete beginners and those who have started crocheting but need a bit of help to improve their work or get started on granny squares. This course is suitable for accompanied children aged 12 and up.
As a follow on, everyone that comes to one of my crochet workshops is invited to join my free monthly Crochet Club, when you can meet fellow crochet enthusiasts and exchange tips and ideas.
Please be aware that I do have an excitable chocolate Labrador dog who will want to say hello to you when you arrive (and then crash out on the sofa soon after). If you are allergic to dogs or not a fan, please consider carefully before booking this course.
